We were awarded 4½ out of 5 and ‘Recommended’ by Auto Express in their 2022 Outdoor Car Cover Test. They said ‘It’s double-stitched seams contributed to excellent exterior moisture performance…we could fold it easily into the bag’. Evo magazine tested it and said ‘…double stitching, 100 per cent resistance to UV light and strong construction provide confidence.’
Our Superstorm covers are designed for cars that remain outdoors year round and provide great protection against rain, snow, frost, tree sap, birds mess, pets, dirt, dust, dents, scuffs and scratches. In summer they keep car interiors cool and protect against exterior & interior fade and degeneration.
They are manufactured from a latest generation lightweight (210gsm) premium grade polyester based silver fabric. It has a bonded coating that reflects UV and sunshine and has a very high tear strength. The bonded coating, combined with double stitched seams, ensures almost total water resistance and that 99% of rain is shed from the fabric surface. The fabric is breathable to allow damp or condensation to evaporate away from your covered car. It is smooth and non-abrasive so will not scratch or mark your cars paint – and that’s guaranteed. They are designed for outdoor use but due to their lightweight construction are also perfect for indoor use.
Our exclusive UK tailored designs, the elasticated hems front and rear, the 2 detachable and adjustable underbody straps (with neoprene sheathed anti-scratch fittings), ensure that the cover fits snugly and will not billow in windy conditions.
Superstorm covers compress easily down to a compact size that is ideal for quickly taking off your car and tucking away in the boot. They are supplied in a generously proportioned zip-up bag, with detailed fitting and care instructions. There is a name tag on the bag, so if you have more than one cover, you can label and quickly recognise which cover is for which car. There are special loops so that our locking kit can be added if anti-theft security is required – see link below.
Our SuperStorm covers usually feature door mirror pockets. But on certain classic cars, mirrors were dealer fit items with differing mirror positions on doors or wings. On these and various other cars the mirrors are very small and do not suit a mirror pocket approach. On these, and also on certain SUV’s with large fold-in mirrors, we have made an allowance to ensure that the cover will accommodate the mirrors (when folded in the case of SUV’s).
